Re: Physical Level and Point Allotment

The Pugilists' HP move's effect is halved when subbed and the cooldown is doubled. Lame.

I don't think it's lame... using a class as main needs to have an advantage over having the skills as subs...

Yea, but it kills some of the freedom of pulling different abilities from different jobs.

...err, those skills have their own special Trait bar that you can set things too without taking away from your 30 active combat slots or taking up any Ability Points. You don't give up any slots really because the slots they go in are specifically made for those traits.

There are abilities that raise a Class's affinity with other classes.

            orly?

Also, I got my first ability last night as a Miner. It seems to activate randomly, and pretty much makes it easier solving the hot-cold game while mining. I usually don't need the help with grade 1 minerals, but grade 2 to 4 can be a hassle.

They're traits as well, so they don't take up any Action or Ability slots.

And just to clear things up, the three sets of settable skills are:

Actions: Your basic commands, buffs, spells and attacks. There's 30 slots and everything takes AP to equip

Traits: Always active bonuses that enhance/modify stats and affinity. 10 slots, no points needed to equip anything

Abilities: Randomly activated skills . 10 slots, no points needed to equip anything.

Damn... So you don't need to worry about min maxing with stats as you can do that with traits... I guess I don't really need to QQ about not being able to re do all the points every 15 mins...

Some class abilities work better with other classes. Affinity varies from 10~100%. Lancer learns an ability at 50 that increases your affinity with Lancer skills for example.
