    Re: Collectors edition, whats inside

The cloth map is cool, better then the Adventurer certificate, and the Tumbler would be nice...if it was actually usable (love the warning it comes with). But all in all, there's really nothing in each set that I feel I'm losing out on by not having.

That you can't actually use it like a tumbler? It's made in China and coated with toxic chemicals. I'd advise you to not use it as a container for things you would actually drink.

I wouldn't be too envious of the UK Collector's Edition.

The Final Fantasy XIV Collector’s Edition is proving that things can indeed still get worse for Square Enix – fans have found the included “tumbler” to be encrusted with mould, and the safety instructions reveal the tumbler cannot be filled with most liquids or solids without risk of damage.

Funny because my flask came through perfectly fine with no hint of mould. I doubt I would actually use it as a real flask since it's far too small and the lid doesn't screw on like a proper flask.

I actually use it to store loose change right now since it does look cool sitting on my desk :3

Let's not kid ourselves here. What could you buy in your country or state that costs $0.50 and is quality constructed?
