I'll give you all the points that have been made about this site; after all, it's not associated with any particular server or group of people, but players of all kinds.

However, I will still argue that it's gotten out of hand on many of the linkshell boards I visit. Some may or may not have a cousin linkshells in both games, but yet people still post doing events/meetings/etc. Getting organized so the same people are on the same server is one thing, but that's about where I draw the line.

And I reiterate, it's not so much about this forum, it's more focused to those where it's not obvious when things are for XIV or XI. No dedicated boards, no way of telling what the hell they're talking about without going into the thread and reading most of it.

Oh, I agree with you on those points, I was mostly speaking to other players that were pushing for a new domain name. I mean, where would it stop? If SE were to put out 2 more MMORPGs (hahahaha ...) in the next 3 years, are we going to expect 2 more special domain names? In hindsight, yes, TM or whoever is the person paying for the hosting/domain name could've made it innocuous, like www.igropechihuahuas.com but I kinda like the domain name the way it is. They already removed the server specific forums and that reduces bloat quite a bit. The FFXIV doesn't seem to get much traffic atm but maybe it'll pick up around the holidays when people have more time to play the game (after finals) and when PS3 version gets released.

In hindsight, yes, TM or whoever is the person paying for the hosting/domain name could've made it innocuous, like www.igropechihuahuas.com but I kinda like the domain name the way it is.

PiNG is still our illustrious leader....though he hasn't made an appearance in a few years. lol We've spoken with AKosygin about it though. If he feels there is a need, he'll talk to PiNG about it.

I think it can just say "Dear FFXIV mobs," because I have this issue with dodos, sheep, and several other damn mobs whenever I'm out on my conjurer/thaum. Go do a leve, its an easy one with bees, a couple good AOE nukes will get it over quickly, and no can do because mobs decide to mill around me as I'm doing the leve. How about making the AOE nukes in leves only effect leve mobs.......LIKE IT USED TO BE! /sigh (Oh ya and I want /sigh back in the damn emotes too since I'm on a damn rant! LOL)

Killing something and it giving me no experience....

Nothing makes you contemplate your life and how much time your wasting like getting 0-50 experience from a monster that took 900 of your health to kill....

My newest annoyance is that there is yet again another leveling exploit, pretty much the same as the healing / buffing issue CONs and THMs got to enjoy. Except, this time, it's for the DoWs.

1-Lack of emotes (/sigh /slap) and ones that has chars interact like maybe a /highfive or such, even free MMOs like perfect world has something similar.

2-The skill up system is annoying since you prolong fights by not using WSs or just guarding to get as much exp as you can.

While melees/mages can party and get up to 500SP a mob, crafters are limited to 200-270 because any harder synths are insanely hard, and you spend most of your time with synths below your level to avoid breaking synths and wasting mats and money.

3-Being able to wear gear above your rank is annoying me to no end, people are avoiding gear their level for higher things even though it gimps them, because it looks cooler and that stops crafters from making those items so when the sane people do want a rank19 shield they'll only find R28+ crap all over the place.

I level up because I like wearing better gear that shows my progress, but the current system just robs me of my victory since I can wear a damn Calvary Haubergeon at R1 and look like a tried and tested warrior.

Its like when you started FFXI and you saw those JPs in full AF running around and thought, damn that galka must be insanely strong, with all that great gear on him and aspired to have a badass character like that someday, and endured annoying parties to get that level to wear your Iron musketeer armor and so on.

Now its all newbs running around with R38 bronze plate armor.

How about they do like demons souls wear heavy armor above your level makes you run and attack slower to stop people from using it, or make them rank up lets say VIT in order to move in it easier?

1-Get R15
2-Go to Camp Bloodshore
3-/Sh anybody want to grind crabs? R15-18
4-Get party
5-Go to lighthouse south of camp.
6-Kill crabs
7- this is the ??? part that nobody knows what is.
8-Profit/exp


And for no exp mobs what I do is just prolong the fight by never WSing to get a few more points.

6- Yep, did that too
7&8- Yep don't know what that is either and profit I understand but exp....NADA.

I'm a Con, you can tell me there is 500exp a kill parties out there but I'll never see one. I have to say that my pt members didn't see that kind of exp either. Anything over 100 and we are thinking that we are in the land of plenty.
