What's to figure out?

When you registered FF13, it should have given you a promo code that's to be used both for the Beta and your in-game item. The FFXI bonus item is automatic.

I will be messing with the controls and running around for a while until I get the hang of it, but before that.. spending a decent amount of time on character creation.

First day, hmm i will have to convince the guy @ ebgames that FFXIV is released.

Most likely they will say. FFXIV what? and give me a FFXIII 360 copy just because they have ton of extra copies and take my 90 buck CE pre-order.

If not ebgames would probably tell me, I am sorry since we don't really care about FFXIV release, it was delayed until the 30th when the normal version released.

or worse case is Ebgames tell me, sorry we don't have any collector edition since you were only one ordered and we didn't brother have them in store. Would you like your credit use on some used games? say FFXIII 360 ?

Now if i am lucky enough to get in first day assume, no server congestion (like hell there would be right?), i am 100% sure Toronto will have a blackout on that day.

idk about you but my local shops have been promoting FFXIV, which is certainly a nice change.


And the reason I'm going Botanist 1st is because they get a skill at rank 15 that lets you skill up faster while harvesting. e.g., I'm hoping I can apply said skill towards mining & fishing as well >.> (I don't like fishing, but Fishing gets 2 guild mark skills that increase chances of getting Water and Wind crystals when harvesting and since I want to craft like crazy, I'll need that)
