Hey I was wondering if any of you are experience client crashing problems with trying to launch the game from the desktop.
I have my drivers up to date on my graphics card and its a ATI Radeon 5830 so it should run it great. Have read many places people have been having problems with ATI cards and FFXIV. So far no answers as to how to fix the issue, some have been fixed by updating the drivers.. >_O Any thoughts?

Okay I figured it out, what you have to do is wipe your drivers off with Catalyst..
I took my version 10.8 and down graded to 10.5 (heard that version worked) then rebooted a few times, works like a charm so far. Going throught the updates.
If you don't know how to delete drivers in use, download a program called Driver Sweeper. Thats a free program that will help you delete your drivers so you don't have anything conflicting with the downgrade. :D
