    Cool Elementals!

    The elementals in this game are MUCH better than what they where in FFXI! Also, watch until the end for something funny. XD

    The elementals for FFXI were fine for it's age but I prefer that these look like living beings......and are probably every bit as nasty. lol

        I didn't like how they looked really... They looked like big balls of Dirt/light/darkness/water/what ever they where. IMHO, they weren't that great. But these, they just own!

          The fire one looked sorta like a demon fairy in my opinion. (At least now they have faces and you can tell which side is front and back )

            Yea... That's another reason why I hated FFXI's. Try self SCing a Sneak Attack as Sam/Thf onto an elemental in FFXI, its a bit too hard. lol

              I'm mad he got like 3 steps off after he had been hit. In ffxi he would've died right in that spot lmao.

                lol yea. I noticed that too. He did drop when he did hit 0 HP though. Its like as you are dying, you have a chance to move a short distance as your HP is dropping.

                  after our first trip to Mhaura, we traveled outside, ignored the Dhamels and proceeded to try to fight an Elemental for the first time. We ran so fast afterwards. Never feared elementals as much as XI.

                    My first encounter with elementals was in Tahrongi. As a newb solo WHM. Yeah, magic aggro and getting silenced right away. I was one angry taru after that. I love being able to one-shot most of them on BLM now. When the RMT were paying 4K a stack for water crystals in Bastok, I laughed at RDMs struggling to farm water elementals in Pashhow when I could just one-shot them and run off to the next pop. Feels good, man.

                      it was fun whacking them using PLD, DNC another other jobs. I think around lv. 50-60 it was when elementals started to become bearable and survivable.

                        I think he got attacked because of the mustache. OMG a taru with a mustache. I've seen everything!!! (Lalafell... , but still Taru)
