Well SE gave the green light on some things, so I figured I would give this a shot. ;p

Also please take note, anything presented here is from the Beta version of the game, and can change in retail release.
The starting city we have access to is Limsa Lominsa, a "pirate" themed port city. It is big and alittle confusing at first (kind of like Windurst was) but I myself got used to it pretty fast. The one thing to see is the big bridge, its the only way to enter and leave the city, other then teleporting out.
In beta I am seeing how well a 4 job combo works out in the beginning, I chose Miner/Blacksmith/Armor/Lancer for this task. My day generally starts out with a little mining, both Guildleve and freelance.
Now having 4 classes is a bit much at first, but once you make macros to switch weapons (armor not so much) and equipping actions in your slots, its nothing but pressing a button. Macros are made pretty much like they are in FFXI, and with the same /command system, with some new terms of course. the one thing to take note on though, is that we have more lines to type on now then we did in FFXI, alot more.
Mining is nice, and I find the "mini game" aspect of it to be fun, it involves choosing a spot to strike, then using a circle to judge where your "prize" is ;p
Sometimes I just like to walk around and look at things, and fight mobs randomly for items before I head back to town.......
(yes I am cute, but I have a sharp pick axe to hit things with)
As in beta right now though, sometimes its hard to find random mobs without a guildleve and well.....you end up like this.......
In the end though I get what I need and head back to town to finish up any crafting guildleves I have for the random NPCs that are to lazy to do things for themselves.
When the day is done I walk on over to the pub, and call it a day, as of right now, there are no missions or quests in the game, so all there is do is random monster killing and guildleves. With all the little things you can do to test things though, it makes up for it, at least for now.
I know that I might no have explained much.... not to good at telling "stories" or the such, but atleast this can open some discoution on things, and I hope to see some of you in Open Beta, and retail.
For now, Kailea says farewell, and she hopes to see some of you soon.
UPDATE: I made Kailea's evil twin today for Shadowlord server stress test, and I had fun making her and seeing how different I could make her......but alas, she never made it to shore (had work so I did not get to play here at all.)
She was sitting the whole trip so she was a little stiff, and needed to stretch....
But when I told her I had to go..... she got a little upset....
Alright here are some pics from OB, just me doing some stuff on a normal day.
This will be my last set of pics, just don't have time right now to put time into the beta, knowing all that time will be deleted.
