On the bright side for the PS3 users (as if this hasn't been pointed out before) you'll get the game with most/all of the bugs/kinks fixed, so it should be a more enjoyable experiment than starting out with all that.

Playing beta and crashing very often and freezing and other kind of nonsense, if I didn't have friends playing with me I would have uninstalled this by now.

Though lack of content (beta) is making me bored, we were just walking (yes walking) around and targeting random people, circling them then just doing an emote then run away out of boredom while leves refresh.

go find bugs, go try to glitch something -.- you know test something.

It's not their fault that you can't play on a PC. You knew it was a "next-gen" MMO, and you can put together a pretty good computer for $800 or so that will play it fairly well. You could have put a little bit of money away and had enough by now if you have known about it since it was called Rapture.

It sucks that the PS3 release was delayed, and I'm sure it wasn't their intention to "fuck over" the people who can't play on a PC. Shit happens, the game will be released eventually.

Can you technically be fucked over if you haven't actually bought the game yet? O_o

Well, what if you can't get a job, and you runemployment has run out (Yes, I have been looking for 2 years now. Gone to job fairs, walked arond, and put in apps, and gone to CT works (Which really only help with resumes... fuck them.), and BRS a few times to see if I can get any help with them.). So No, its not my fault that I can't afford a new computer, its the economies. Mine right now is four years old, and It can barely run WoW, I doubt it can run FFXIV with all of the effects turned off.

And they didn't intention to. They wanted to Fuck over WoW before Cata comes out.

D & D online is actually pretty fun for a free MMO.

Other than that, I'm not sure as I've never gotten into many.

I can not stand those games. ALL free MMOS are the same. Just hack and slash at the same mob for hours on end just to gain a level. Look, a P2P game costs next to nothing compared to what other stuff I could be doing. I could be using tx dollars to pay for cable television which costs more than a P2P game.

I just play the games for when its a bad day to go looking for a job, or waiting for a responce.

I just thought there were more important things at stake other than FFXIV being delayed for PS3. It's true I should have mentioned that in my op. My original was actually a lot longer, but unfortunately when I reread it, it sounded pretty harsh.

On the subject of the economy and job searching, I wouldn't mind talking more about it in a sperate thread. I think there a lot of career paths out there that people are not aware of. It would be pretty cool for us to share with each other what we know in our particular fields and any others we might know about through our friends and family.

I am actually considering an additional career at the moment and am learning more about it right now.

Aye, at least he's trying, unlike other losers I know. takelli, a friend of mine built a monster of a PC by buying the parts and having a friend build the PC for him, he ended up paying like $900 after parts and labor. You can also buy monster gaming PCs that have been refurbished for half the cost of a new one.

On topic: What I find strange is that they are opening the beta so close to launch time. Shouldnt all of this have been done a long time ago?
