Ifrit looks f'ing amazing now though. He's much more dragon/demon like now than before. And was that a Mamool towards the end, or some new mob type?

Actually, that loincloth Titan wears is coming into fashion a bit. I've seen some sites that are starting to sell them... oddly enough.

I'm not too big of a fan of Ifrit's new look. Personally thought he looked his best in XI, and now he's encroaching onto Bahamut territory.

Definitely an interesting video. I also noticed a couple of videos of party battles against "bigger" enemies (Fallen Wizard?). Very cool. You can search Youtube.com for "FFXIV" and sort by upload date to find them, if they're still there.

Some posted this video over at the beta forums, and expressed their desire to see the same type of detail in FFIXV.... my god I forgot already how wonderful FFXI's scenery was...... *sniff*

But that's awesome! 1000+ pieces, and they've already got stuff for the 1st update... wow. Hoping we get guns really soon.


I'm actually very curious about Bard this time around, since in XI you had actual weapons along with your instruments... I don't want to use my voice or instrument as my tool of death. I had enough of that with FF4 & 5 tyvm.

The whole "make full armor then hide details for low level variants" was being discussed as a solution for "ps2 limitation" years ago over fan forums.

Glad to see SE put that into consideration when making this game.
