FFXIV Beta Supports IME

I don't know if this is public knowledge, and it might not even be important to some, but as it stands right now the English client has the ability to use the IME so that people can type in Japanese.

It's my hope that this stays in the full version!

Yeah that'd be neat if it supports other languages like Chinese or Arabic or "languagewithweirdlitters", that'd be freaking awesome.

I seem to remember the IME being in FF11 beta as well and it was taken out of the final product as a cost reduction item as has been discussed in previous topics in this forum.

I can say with certainty that the beta tester feedback forum (Europe) definatly has requests to keep the IME in the release version of FF14, we can only hope SE listens.
