You don't lose xp anymore, first off. Once you head back to the last Aetheryte you touched, you have a debuff for about 5 minutes. It halves your hp, and greatly reduces your stamina refresh rate (you need stamina to do attacks). So while you can technically still fight, the decreased stamina refresh rate basically means you attack at half speed (it's REALLY slow). I tried it once and got killed again. Heh.

yeah but you also suffer item damage (your items have durability, really crappy) if your weapons are damaged to 0/????? you get less skill points (the points you get for leveling a weapon) not sure about armor, i know it does take damage. but you also take damage on the equipped items by hitting with them/being hit. the only way to completely fix an item is to find a higher lvl crafter (depending on what type of gear needs to be repaired) to repair it. I.E. Storm axe, rank 16 axe, requires 2 bronze nuggets and a skill lvl of I DON'T KNOW! to fix it (i lvl'd blacksmithing for about 2 hours and wasted over 15k to lvl it up and it still says im not skilled enough to fix it) Or you can pay an npc in the west hawkers area (some elvaan dude with goggles) to fix 50% of the gear.

So you get weakened which lasts 5 mins, lowers your stam regen and halves hp, you can still hit as hard as normal tho. AND damages items quite a bit, not sure on the % though, but it seems to be pretty high.

Wow thanks for the screens.Even in beta it looks wicked sweet. Now I am wishing 9-22 would get here quickly as possible

The no mp regen thing isn't as bad as it sounds. When you're doing guildleves you're hitting the crystal every 5-10 minutes anyway so you can spam to your heart's content. As conjurer from 4-9 I needed to refill my mp roughly every 15 minutes using one Cure and/or Shock Spikes per fight on decent challenge things, which meant I had to run to a crystal roughly every 30. At rank 10 you get Radiance which is Spirit Taker-esque—returns 5% of the damage dealt as mp. After getting that you become pretty independent of the crystals for mp when soloing.

15 FPS outside and 11-13 FPS with other people around. You'll have plenty of time to drool watching that slideshow.

Rofl ... my thoughts exactly. And this is with a small number of people. That'll plummet to 0.25 fps when game goes live.

I don't think some people are taking this into account. They keep building a computer around the beta and how its currently running on their current pc. They figure that if they smooth things out with a minimal upgrade and the beta runs fine then they are golden. I have one friend that constantly asks me every other week if I think his laptop will handle the game now. He thinks that since they upgrade the game with every beta release that eventually it will run on his P.O.S.....sorry its just not gonna happen buddy.

As long as he meets the minimum he should be fine, honestly (but if he doesn't, then yeah... not going to happen. LOL) Like SE said in one of the gamescon interviews, they do have a lot of background garbage going on for debugging (and like I've been saying for awhile.) It was turned into overdrive for phase 3 -- probably attributing to the overheating GPU issue.

Also surprised there's no picture of Cas Hallows in the first post. That place was an extremely awesome surprise when I first entered.

Yeah I saw that and was amazed at how smooth it ran. He must be sporting a 5870 at least but probably looks like a 5970.

Panorama shots may even be possible with naked people. Seriously, I know some people out there will manage to figure out to "skin" all the way.
