Re: FFXIV Beta Video Impressions! so much seen and learned!!!!

all I did this time was state my opinion like everyone else can, just because some of you dont like it, does not mean I am wrong.
This is the internet, there is no such thing as having an opinion. Sorry.

As for the beta, and that crap. This game is not going to be full on ready by release date. One example is closed beta, when the flood gates open and 90% of ffxi as well as thousands more from tired mmo's (like eve and wow) join in many many more issues will arise. 2 months is a hopeful release date for an open beta, I am going to predict, that the game will be fully playable with minimal bugs/crashes/issues come early 2011. Most likely around the PS3 launch date.

From the vids I have seen it does not look all that smooth in comparison to FFXI. I am putting full access date around sometime mid first quarter next year, until then if you get this game on day 1 of PC launch and pay to play, you are essentially paying to be an open beta tester.

Until this game gets some real wow effect (not the game wow the action wow) I can't see myself enjoying it, apart from the skippy graphics in some vids (based off of a bad computer no doubt) I am skeptical. Sound however is awesome. But I play all games to my own music so w/e.

Ill check it again after the open (pay to play) beta, and maybe chime in again around march 2011.

Yea... It was a higher level, thats why it wiped them so easily. lol.

Also... Theres a few comments in there and I am tried of seeing the"BORING!!!!!!!!!1111!!!!ONE11!!!" comment on A LOT of the videos.
I think the game is a lot more intense than what FFXI was.

I gave up on the human race after seeing that kind of comments about The Dark Knight.

Not sure if anyone saw/posted this one yet (it IS about 3 days old), but it's got some more solo guildleve gameplay.

The thing I noticed (maybe someone has mentioned this before?) while watching this video is that TP appears to be use-it-or-lose-it. It starts going down once you finish a battle, e.g. 3000 -> 2800 -> 2600... It doesn't seem to go down while you are engaged with an enemy (even if you are chasing it down). TP dropping between battles is a little different from FFXI.
