No those are definitely beta videos, you can tell because of the change to the action gauge and the effect gauge is gone.

I laugh at people that make judgments off an unfinished game.

Yes its 2 months to release but the game people are seeing is still a beta build, before the game is released it will get a big update and fix a lot of the problems that have been going on.

This is one of the main reasons why I hate leaks, most of these problems people are not meant to see, because they make rash judgments like they are now.

SE shows their videos, and it shows what is currently working. Leaked videos show everything including the things that are not working right at the moment.

Normal MMORPG formula of release, the first month of FFXIV will be crazy, after that it will be fine and the game will go on for a good 10+ years.

SE shows a build that has no stress. A large amount of people playing = stress. Of course what they show will run brilliantly. If their own update screwed up the game, it doesn't speak well for the way things are going. Today's cancelled, this weekend has been cancelled.... Remember FFXI and updates screwing things up , all the bitching, and people whining on forums....people like you? Oh but now SE can't do anything wrong because people are sucking their ass. I give it 6 months after release and the whining will start.....probably sooner if they release the game before all the kinks are worked out. I like it when the fanboys forget the past.

There's nothing wrong with looking at a shitty beta build, going "hey, your beta build is pretty shitty", and wondering how they intend to fix it before release. If anything, you're the one jumping to conclusions with your "oh, SE is just waiting until the end of beta and then they'll release a BIG patch and make everything better!" concept. Will the gold release have lots of bug fixes? Sure. But that's because they have a lot of bugs to work out during beta. Working out kinks is the entire purpose of beta tests, but when they're having problems working out something as basic as player load, it's perfectly valid to wonder if they'll be able to have the product finished by the release date.

Maybe they have the player load limit too strict and they were thinking small with how big the server should be?
Hmm maybe it's better to test with a far bigger server player capacity?

shit happens, people still dont seem to grasp this concept.

I am not saying a magic patch will come out day of release, I am just saying that alot of the major problems people are seeing now, and getting all worked up over, will be fixed for the most part by the time the game comes out. No MMORPG has ever released and had its first month run "smoothly"
