Hey, don't resort to childish comebacks just because you couldn't find a good enough reason to bully someone over the Internet. I think you should get a new hobby.

It's hardly bullying. Calm down. It wouldn't even be a subject of discussion if you hadn't gotten all "RAWR INJUSTICE" on me for what is, all in all, a pretty innocuous comment. It wasn't intended maliciously, so I treated your comment with the respect it deserved.
Lament "how things used to be" all you like, but if I were doing anything wrong, believe me, I would have gotten in trouble for it. We have enough mods and admins here. We don't need another. Get yourself a new hobby, my friend.
Just amazes me what this forum has turned in to since 2003.
Honestly, look at old threads sometime. Most of them are just inane and immature chatter, and I'm comparing that to now. This forum has improved, not degraded. We have richer discussions, lively but mostly civil debates, and better food.
Maybe you aren't familiar with it anymore, but the biggest shift is that we've gone from a bunch of clueless newbs to a handful of regulars, many of whom don't play anymore. I'm not saying that's better than clueless newbs, depends on what you want in a forum, but that's how it is. And the thing about a group of regulars at anything is that there's going to be more joking, more injokes, and more ribbing. We've gotten to the point where we can disparage each other hugely in relation to arguments, but not take it past that. We can point out someone being a total dumbass in regards to one thing, while still accepting they have a valid opinion somewhere else, and even can be helpful.
Thus, I can say the following with impunity:
The reason Murphie is so lame and childish (really, did you even look?) is simply because he has mental issues. Like Peter Pan, he refuses to grow up not because he fears aging and death, but because adults don't get to wear tights and actually be played by women in any theatre worth attending. This obsession with green tights has often had him confused with Tingle cosplayers, and the truly disturbing thing is that even that doesn't bother him one bit.
