    new FFXIV trailer E3!!!! new scenes! new story!

    the sony conference revealed it. post your reactions here. =^^= They really surpass XI with the cutscenes and the action and everything looks so magical!

    Man what a terrible quality video. And how on earth does that "confirm" a new race?

    I mean, what I did see was interesting, but I've only started checking out info on FFXIV today, so I dunno.

      there is no new race, how in the hell does that video confirm anything?

                  The only thing that can be seen as a 'new race' in that video is the horned kid at about 27 seconds in, which is most likely just an NPC race (sadly) and can also be seen in the announcement art.

                  To be honest, I wouldn't complain if they added a Gria type race (humanoids with horns and tiny vestigial wings) as I'd honestly prefer XIV did get new races, just to add to the variety. But that thing at 00:18? That's an elemental. Not a new race. Hell, it's not even the first time we really seen it either. They're the elemental icons used to show off the circle in Conjurer's job description.
