In XI's case, they only ever made the one character, and only after the game was already 6~7 years old;


This time they have fully rendered models for both Male Miqo'te and Female Roegadyn (if an earlier interview is to be believed) and yet they are still being relegated to NPC onry status.

WTF SE. You actually took the time to fully render all the models this time around, but you still insist on cockblocking.

Oh I NEED goblins in FFXIV! They are one of the cutest mobs in FFXI and a staple to boot! We need to demand Goblins! I have my gobbie plushie on my desk and he makes me smile every day!

This stuff sounds really cool ... but really complex. It's a lot to take in. Maybe it won't seem that way when you can actually get into the world, but it does seem pretty overwhelming.

Some goblins should even team up with people, and actually party with the players to fight against the goblins that don't like the other races. That would add an interesting factor.

I love the goblins though. The ones with the metal masks though have something wrong with their armor. Makes me wonder if only the males can wear metal armor. lol

Mandies, omg, I hated them. Their damn AoE sleep always pissed me off lol.

I think how mobs link it should have worked for bst's too. Mobs matching your pet should have joined in to help you. I always thought that'd be fun.
I'm curious if pet jobs will be introduced from the looks of it they dont look like they would fit in at all.
This game though I'm constantly two-ing and fro-ing between liking it and thinking its rubbish. It's going to take alot to from it for me to cross over to it. Which is a shame because before we had any info on the game if you'd asked me if I'd be likely to play another SE FF MMORPG then you would have gotten an emphatic yes from me.

I want to like 14 I really do but I'd rather play 11 with crap graphics at the moment.
Whoever decided this game should be ps2 should have been shot XI having ps2 limitations is rediculous

I know the 360 came out 3 years after ffxi was released but I think it should have been pc onry like many mmo's

I'm loving the look of 14 though especially with everyone's characters being more varied, in aht urghan and jeuno sometimes it feels like you're in the middle of a cloning laboratory.
