    Alpha + Beta screenshot comparisons! Next-gen FFXIV graphics!!

    This is so amazing! This is a extreme difference! Not just the lighting but also the detail and the atmosphere too!

        It's amazing what a difference good lighting can do. I like it. Now if only they could fix those ugly textures on the cliffs.

                where did that second pic come from.... because beta has not started yet....... those settings are not in the game yet for testers, so unless thats right from SE, then its shopped. or is that pic from the new Famitsu scans? I have not bothered looking at them


                EDIT: never mind I did o see the link at the top, well by looking at them, all that's added is lighting.... and that's something that was to be added later anyway, no really a surprise.

                      That is a wasteful use of electricity. Horrible lighting if you ask me.

                      Also what are those "moon runes" over the peoples heads in the first pics....

                      Also for some reason that reminds me of the front desk that pee-wee herman worked at when he played the hotel clerk during the movie that was made about his character, in the movie pee-wee's big adventure.
