    .dat files that FFXI/FFXIV uses that contain stuffs from the game. When you see dat mining threads after an update, people are looking through the dats to find information on quests, new armor/weapons, Jobs, spells, etc.

    I remember back when I first got to Jeuno in FFXI, I was too amazed by it. Why did one of my LS friends tell me that I could revoke my Sandorian citizenship and become a Jeuno Citizen... Man was I an idiot or what?

      Oh.. I played on PS2, so I couldn't do that. I don't think.

      Here's some screen shots of alpha and finished version compariosn with the graphics.. I didn't realize the huge difference till I saw these lol.
