He's using a hammer the same way he would use a spoon, it looks like it weighs as much as a feather.

If you're gonna compare every single thing to FFXI we're gonna get absolutely nowhere. Be cool if he also actually hit the item he was making, lol, that might be asking for too much unless every item has the same shape in the animation.

Yes the overall representation is an improvement over FFXI. Pretty sure he is just commenting that there is room for more improvement. You have to admit the animation was a little "clunky". I bet it gets smoothed out before release.

I have no doubt it will improve once its out of Alpha, and into Beta. Will probably get even better when its released and is in full Retail.
