Gatts here from long ago. My primary goal with FFXIV is to create the first and greatest english HNM LS ever, then steal all the gil and run to a mediocre JP HNM LS. Of course half of the old shell will come to the new one with me which will allow us to morph into the best shell on the server, but it will forever divide the entire english-speaking community. I really just want to get it out of the way as soon as possible.

Not sure how you would setup an account if you import the game if you require an address in Japan. I remember one MMORPG company required a live address in which they will try to send you something and if you don't respond to that mail, they will immediately cancel your account as a fraudulent address, because this is a tactic that gold/gil sellers will use. I will also assume the address will have to match your credit card address as well.

Im sure I can stare at an empty spot for 3 hours pretending a nm will pop and get dissapointed it wasn't that king version, going back a week later and this time pretending it DID pop but didn't give me my drop and just repeat the process over and over again. Maybe get someone to stare at the spot for me when I'm not around so I can have the pretend time of death too and a third person to bitch about points.
