How do you think luck will effect us this time? It's been in various FF's, but used differently in almost every one.

Traditionally luck has been a crit modifier. In any case, I don't like it.

I'm not sure about the stat, but I hope this game isn't 90% luck based like FFXI is... I'd rather not have the mechanic of "Do this really long and tedious thing and you MIGHT get this item." rather than it being based on reward for skill.

Learning from their FFXI experience, SE has come up with a whole new system - their game can categorize its players into ranks: from good, bad, to moron. And when you set yourself up for an auto-grouping, your luck is the your primary modifier if you'll be placed among morons.There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,
