Hello Everyone!
I wanted to stop by and let everyone know about a new Final Fantasy XIV linkshell/community that's starting up. We're looking to build a bit of a prelaunch community and to at least put together a foundation of players that can venture out into Eorzea together, recruiting more fresh faces as we go along.
The style of this community will be casual/social based, but we intend to also to pepper in some fun scheduled events that will allow us to get everyone in one place now and then, to have some fun as a group.
Anyway, to explain a little more about us, here's a blurb from our front page:
In addition to the above, I am currently looking for a few like minded individuals who would be interested in playing a bigger part in this community, to become officers.
There will be no preferential treatment to officers, they will simply be individuals besides myself that are willing to donate their time for the good of the community and to assist in arranging events, planning games, and helping to resolve conflicts.

Hello and welcome to the official Zero Hour web page!
I feel that the below is a very good representation of what we're all about, so before hitting the Apply button, please read the below carefully to ensure that this is the right community for you. I'll keep this as short as possible.
Zero Hour is primarily a social based Final Fantasy XIV community, and as such the requirements for our members are simple: Be Fun, Be Friendly, and Be Helpful!
Don't be fooled though, because Zero Hour is not just a chat room. We will be holding occasional events to help accomplish the goals of our members, to help members of our community get to know each other better, and to give us an excuse to get everyone together and have some fun!
In the months approaching the launch of the game we will be setting up a voice chat system which we would like to strongly encourage the use of, especially at launch, in order to get everyone acquainted with one another and to start building the bonds that are going to help this community strive.
The last thing I want to say is that if you're the type of player that is only going to be looking out for number one, and are only going to have your own best interest in mind everyday, please hit the back button now because that's not the type of person we're looking for.
If you're an individual who is looking to make a lasting group of friends, while working toward your goals, and at the same time helping other members toward theirs, you're absolutely the type we're looking for, hit the Apply button now!
