      It is a trusted source because the guy who ripped it is the same guy who usually rips all the dat info for FF during updates. He's developed the trust of BG, which isn't easy to get mind you, and the fact it was up and shared as long as it was (got nuked due to NDA stuff, but he re-up'ed V2 shortly after anyway) proves it's viability.

      It's very different and very varied music. Some songs are certainly FF style songs while others would seem more at home in a Castlevania or Mega Man game from the 80s...which isn't a bad thing. Couple of epic fight song type tracks and a few creepy/evil ones too. I didn't finish the whole thing, but all in all I look forward to most of this music in game. I'm normally not a BGM type of guy, I don't gush over composers or soundtracks or anything, but this one got me pretty pumped for the full game.

        Get a grip, it's a freaking zip file full of MP3s. No SFX, no EXE, not even SWF.

                    Not everyone wants to download music for a quick listen to. I go to YouTube if I want to hear a song and that's it. I haven't downloaded music in ages, lol.

                      I like listening to music on youtube to discover new bands that I might like.

                      Usually, I look at music festival acts lists (ACL, Lollapolooza, etc) and try listening to them all to see if there's any that interest me. Youtube is good for that.

                        Same.. Or if I forget a song, I put it into youtube. Same with seeing what the lyrics are.

                            This music isn't too bad.. Some of the first few songs I heard, I didn't like, but these are pretty sweet.

                              I think the point Feba is trying to make is the OST is just audio. Youtube is generally seen as a place to see something.

                              I am curious, if you are able to go to youtube why are you not able to download the file?

                                Yeah I know. But YouTube has been cracking down on music videos, so it's usually AMV's, or lyrics. So you still get to see something lol.
