My guess is yes, but I don't believe they have released minimum requirements for the game yet.

I know a couple of testers who ran the alpha fine, and they're running older GPUs with duals. Then again, the alpha seemed to have been capped at 30fps. Should be fine.

The specs I'll be runnin' for XIV. (Got the money sittin in the bank, just waitin for system reqs to be released, and seein if I get in the open beta on PS3 or PC) When XI came out, I dropped like 2500 on a computer to run it at best possible specs. (I was like 15-16 at the time), so I got a rockin computer instead of a car lol. Now instead of making a down payment on a new car, I'll be driving a sweet computer

I'm in the same boat Ufgt, but with a slower processor. If I do decide to play XIV on PC I will probably purchase a new one. The one I have is 3+ yrs old. I want to wait for Recommended specifications to be released though. Plus the difference between buying now and when game is released could be as much 500$.
