    I'm not saying they didn't recycle anything. But the game is going to be much different than FFXI. Look at the classes, they are designed to go against many other creatures, rather than the 6 on 1 thing it is now. Combat will be mass scale on mass scale, from what I understand, and heard.

        but Takelli is right, FFXIV is going to be a good bit different from FFXI in every aspect, to compare the two, would be like comparing Western RPGs to J-RPGs


        It may be that none of us have played FFXIV, but just by reading the info we have now, and looking at the current abilities and weapon skills of the classes, an intelligent decision can be made of how the game might work out.

          Well, our "Tarutaru" have finally matured. So I don't see why not! No more midgets~! ...

          Also, as much as I love these new classes and their ways -- wish they picked better titles. 'Gladiator' is so... bleh, and I never even knew what a Pugilist was. I keep thinking of a Pugil!

                          You don't have to be a lolicon to find a cute thing cute.

                          I personally prefer the more lolicon.... I mean, the shorter-leg tarutaru .

                            I prefer the more humanoid look they have in XIV over the "football with limbs" look they have in XI.

                            It's definitely like Taru Taru finally grew up and became Lalafell. In XI they looked like toddlers with giant heads. In XIV they look more like pre-teens with oddly tiny feet.

                                It's kinda the same deal as Cabbage Patch Kids. Sure, they are cute in doll form.

                                But make that thing come to life and look more realistic, it's the scariest thing ever.
