and I will try and find out, then report every one of them for NDA contract breech, people need to respect things they agree to.

People can say "oh but people will do it anyway" all they want, but what happen to integrity? If I agree to something link an NDA, they I need to uphold that agreement.

Neither of those are a legal contract with consequences if you break it. If you give your word on something you should follow through. Which is what you did if you applied to beta test the game - the legalese you clicked "I agree" on was a NDA in which you agreed to not even say if you got in, let alone post pics/videos.

nothing wrong with jaywalking, but littering is disgraceful.

Littering and jaywalking are handled in criminal courts provided you don't enter an implicit plea of no contest by paying the ticket. Breach of contract is for civil courts. What jaywalking, littering and public beta NDAs do have in common is that nobody cares enough to enforce them.

Does everyone honestly think SE will pursue someone who leaks something??? Worst case scenario, that person will get kicked from beta.. I don't think SE wants to waste time, money, and energy to sue some kid in Wisconsin for disobeying an NDA over a videogame that we will all soon be playing anyway..

Well, this is just something to think about, but if you guys wish for this site to be recognized as a community site by SE at some point again, might be best to make sure people stick to the NDAs. It might not be damning to the re-attempt, but you never know.

It really depends on what PiNG and the administration staff want and what the community agrees with, I suppose. I realize people are really excited for it, but not all of them have the best of intentions. Some people are going to treat this like a demo.

I really don't even care about the beta personally. Its doing work for free, which isn't within my interest. I'll play it when it more strongly resembles a game. If I want to play a game in its beta state, I can just pick up a Bethesda RPG.

We've talked about this in the past and there seems to be little interest in the community for becoming a "premiere" site again, but even if we did I have to wonder how much our respect for the NDA would matter. It didn't seem to make a difference that we were one of the first sites hosting dat mods for FFXI, which are explicitly forbidden in the ToS. If distributing files with the explicit intent of allowing users to violate the ToS didn't faze them, I'm sure they wouldn't blink at some leaked screenshots. Ultimately I'm for hosting whatever content allows the site to best serve its users.

exactly If you don't have what people will want (whether that means discussion on the latest leaks from the beta or model mods) then the forum is useless for the people that matter, the users. SE has nothing to do with the sites success, because in the end if you dont have what people want, people will go else where. There are much bigger sites and forums on the net covering these leaks that SE could go after. (takedown notices)
