Try look around. There are lots of interesting translations/interviews/discussion in all of them. We're expecting more information during the Vana 'fest tomorrow.
Hopefully a lot of information, and more speculation as well!

But yea... I really can't wait till tomorrow. Hoping there is more information there, and want to know some about the update.

      Indeed.
Yet allow me to point out Beyond Vana'diel for anyone interested in an alternative.

That being said, it would be nice to see this place branch off into a FFXIV site as well. I remember visiting here back in 2002 (I can't believe it's been that long ).

Don't be too thankful, my good buddy Taskmage is pretty useless.

Truth is, administration staff has been pretty much gone for years. However, the moderators have done quite a good job of managing the forum, they're not really needed most of the time. Taskmage being an admin is fairly recent, because the other two admins (PiNG and Aksyogin) just weren't here much. He's done fine, there's just not a lot he can do. The real great thing about FFXIO is just the community; that's where pretty much all of the content we've gotten comes from. The moderators do a good job of keeping the place from turning into BG, Alla, KI, or wherever else all the cool kids hang; and the community makes the site worth moderating.

Why do you believe there is a need to have two different url's?

Why? A lot, if not most, of the regular users here don't play XI but are still here. If anything the site probably should simply morph into a generic community type site as opposed to being targeted at any specific game.

Whatever. I'm not gonna continue being named after a small portion of Big Bird's alphabet song for another 5 years. If this site changes function to stay "relevant" or whatever, I'll have to give in and request a name change.
