    lol. That doesn't even show much. Doesn't say the Ram, they will use both windows and mac, with a linux version coming much later. You don't even have the video/sound card needed for it. If you can't show all the system specks needed, then you are obviously lying, and this sir, is a scam.

        To those of you that want the thread closed, understand that this is a good thing leaving it open. It alerts people to the scam that this is because not everyone is in the know about FFXI or its community. They do a search and hopefully read up on things at forums and see that people like this are doing this. Even if it helps one person then its worth leaving it open. Besides that, its good entertainment too!

                They must've used KGB Archiver to compress 7GB down to 728KB. (KGB Archiver is a real program, look it up. I've never used it so I can't comment on if the great compression is a good as it claims to be lol.)

                    The game server. What database does it use? What is it's cache settings? All of that was aimed at the game server binaries.

                    Oh and good work there hanging yourself from your own petard, no one in their right mind is going to believe that a major mmo is being run on Windows servers.

                            I highly doubt any compression program could work that efficiently (~99.99898% compression) and still be able to decompress. The only way I could see it even compressing it that far is outright removing most of the 0s and 1s in the binary.

                            And, I just looked it up... even KGB seems to have a max compression of about 80%, maxing out to 93% for text. I'm going to go out on a limb and say, at this point in time, 7GB -> 700KB is impossible while maintaining the original code.

                              Yeah, most of the information I looked up on it back when I was actually looking into it said that even if it could compress that far that it would take an extremely long time to compress and an even longer time to decompress. Since I could never find a actual review saying it worked as good as some of the posts that said it did, I didn't download it. BTW my post was mainly for the lulz especially saying most of the KGB reviews got more and more rediculous as I went along.
