    My name is Yuri and i am the owner of Official Final Fantasy XIV Beta Leak Download

    So I have come across yet ANOTHER angry ffxiv forum whining about me leaking the beta online. Let me make it plain to everyone flaming my blog. SHAME on you.

    You're the biggest asshole ever. Do you know how much bandwidth is costing me hosting the files from my server???

    Not to mention how many leeches I am getting from ungrateful sites like you. I am close to shutting down the site and just leaving it open to me and a few of my friends to play with the beta.

    As for the background, etc... I can make then anything I want . YES i have ffxiv screenshots - I'm actually putting some up on my site as well.

    Basically, for anyone who was leeching the client who has the referrer as this site has been disconnected - permanently.

    Sorry but I'm not paying $400+ per month in bandwidth for schmucks.

    And by the way, the beta leak has been on digg for the last month. God you guys are slow.

        The only way to prove that it's a real leaked client is to give somebody access to it, but, whatever it is, it's hidden under a bunch of shady stuff. Fill out a quiz to continue? Who knows where that quiz will direct you? Even if it is the real deal, why would anybody run a gauntlet of spam and viruses just to access it? And why hasn't anybody else with a sense of decency uploaded their own torrent after downloading this one?

          Most likely there is nothing there. This is a scam to get fools and their money to part faster.

          The quizzes all go (and one isn't even a quiz) to 'services' to sign you up for a ~$10/month services to pipe shit to your cell phone.

          Per minute charges may apply of course.

          Maybe I'll take some screenshots, it made me laugh.

          Oh, and I can't find any mention of a leak on Digg. Not that I'm surprised, but using that festering pile of crap as some sort of 'as seen on TV' to lend credence to the whole think is only slightly dumber then saying it was on 4chan so it must be legit.

          Also, for a mod. They are most likely posting here to drive up their link counts and score higher on Google, I suggest censoring all mentions of the 'download site.'

            Sorry for the download locking. I'm really not a bad guy - it's just that I can't afford to keep up the download file all by myself so it's really just helping to pay for server costs.

            I already have 200+ people playing the beta on my server. The torrents should be up soon but I had problems putting it up on pirate bay for some reason...

            I think we got off on the wrong foot, just that you guys slammed my site without even taking a look.

              I decided to share what Spazz told us here over on D-Toid, more or less. This little piggie saw it got butthurt over the exposure.

              Really, I don't know why you're acting like you're legit. Even if you do somehow have the code in your hands, you're still not doing anything honest and I don't have any pity over your expenses.

              Also, you're right, you did get off on the wrong foot. You're attempting to profit off software you allegedly but don't really have. That's a big wrong foot to start off on. Quit while you're ahead.

              And no, I will not be retracting my blog post.

                SE should be paying me a monthly stipend for promoting ffxiv. 6 months down the road when the full version comes out they'll have massive sales......and guess who'll be to blame .

                    This thread is funny; yet another leak that claims to be legit but still can't produce any images of the client or char gen or even the game. You already broke NDA if any of this were true so why is producing proof so difficult, oh thats right cause your full of shit! Pretty sad that you think anyone is gonna fall for this BS, well a small % will but they deserve it anyway.

                    Oh and you getting paid cause claiming to promote a game before its release through illegal and scamming means...rofl You do know this is Final Fantasy right...the name alone speaks volumes louder than your pathetic voice could muster. Just go away already...and cry yourself to death in whatever hole you climbed out of.

                        A leaked mmo client means very little. It is not going to give you access to the beta.

                          I am not here to create enemies, but friends. I think it was unfair that you guys didn't even bother to check out the beta and slammed it instead.

                          Beta production is at 2.55+ btw but I don't think i'll be getting any updates soon. My source was pretty much squashed.

                            I think pwn's talking about the information an NDA would cover being leaked. But yeah, SE would have to be dumber than I could imagine to allow anyone with the client software to connect to the servers and play.
