I just got a message saying that FFXIV is ready for preorder on Amazon.com, and its true. I just pre ordered it, and if the price goes up, or down, you will get the lowest price for the game. Costs 59.99 atm for the PS3.

Well, beta applications have started. So about 7-8 months it should come out if beta stars with in 1-2 months. Based mostly on the fact that they have said that it will take 6 months this time, rather than the 3 months they did for XI.Comment

I remembered a few friends preordered some online games with amazon before only to end up receiving the game much later than everybody else.... maybe it was WoW.There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,

I've never had that issue. I have it on one day shipping, so if I don't get it the day after the game comes out, or on monday, if they game comes out on a friday, they will be getting an ear full. But I have never had an issue with them. I only had one issue with them, and it was with the Amazon prime when it started to re activate after I had done the trial.Originally posted by Jei View PostComment

Yeah this means nothing, there have been many games that went on preorder, WAY before their release, and I thikn Amazon is the only one doing it right now.-------------------------------------------------------------------------

I agree. Until the actual dates come out nothing is true, and even then nothing is true since the dates are subject to change.{New Sig in the works}

True, but if you pre-order it now you can capitalize on the free one day shipping error I noticed. This does happen from time to time with Amazon, especially on new games that pop up for pre-order. I've caught several over the years...its fun and they have to honor it.
EDIT: Amazon must have caught on to it, cause I just tried to replicate it the same way and its charging me for every shipping option except the FREE Super-Saver. Lucky me I guess...hehe

Pre-ordering games online isn't big to me unless you get a really good discount or a different package than you get in stores since I can just pick it up on my lunch hour.
