Thats what I hated about FFXI is that you NEEDED to party to do anything, unless you wanted to level very slowly. I would like a game that find a balance between party, and solo.
So you can solo for exp, but not with the efficiency of a party, but not have it as a snail's pace, but get more money while solo, where as party will be for pure exp. Also, make it so that you can't kill the same monster over and over and over and over for exp, and have to fight other types rather than the same one. Thats one thing that I got bored of FFXI.
As for the parties... I don't think it will be to hard if they keep the level sync type system in the game. But they should make it for later in game, that you can't get a max level, and have them run through everything. They should make it so that you have to work together to get such a great item, or do the harder missions with out grabbing the highest level you can find, and have them run it.
