            HOLY COWS being struck by lightening, and this game gets better and better for me graphically. Now if they would release the specs, so I could put together the appropriate computer components haha... Probably buying a PS3 slim until then though haha... I need to be prepared

              I was thinking... Pup Automation? Sweet! It'd be nice if there was a pup in this game. And if it was just like the pup as it is now. Best healer in game as pup/dnc with a 7 tic refresh lol.

                  Ha. The good thing about the PS3 is, you don't have to worry about upgrading it with new parts.

                    I concur, but MMO + PC = DX10 and DX11 support hehe for other games along with this game, because the game may be using DX11 by its release, and the half assed DX10 in the PS3 means close but no cigar. Yes! The all mighty PS3 does not fully support DX10. Next gen systems are hardly next gen.

                        oh yea but DX11 isn't all that different from DX10. the difference is hardly worth investing so much more.

                          They are very different. DX11 takes DX10 and also expands upon it. Otherwise DX11 would be DX10.1.1, because there is a DX10.1.0 in existance to fix the bugs in DX10.

                            You sure save hundreds to thousands over the years with PS3 though. and less technical problems, no viruses, no need for noiser fans, bigger electric bills, messed up backs, etc. etc.


                            Besides FFXIV at launch will look the same for the next 8 years, it already looks good enough. People willing to spend more just to make it look a little better will never be satisfied with the visuals.

                            besides since when does an mmorpg get an entire new generation of graphical overhaul? after a decade, might as well
                            make a new mmorpg with new hardware, and by then, people can simply just buy a PS4 without needing to look up system specs and taking their system apart.

                            But I guess some love PC because they can treat it like a car. They love doing the dirty work. :p

                              It is the fact that PC's are good at multiple tasks, and a console although adding media center abilities is still lacking. Spending hundreds of thousands, hundreds maybe, thousands if you have to have the bleeding edge all the time. That is a exaggeration.

                                You sure save hundreds to thousands over the years with PS3 though.
                                I can do the same thing by not constantly upgrading the PC with the latest cutting-edge market releases.
