Playing this on the PS3 is so much more appealing to me. Whatever, if updates take awhile. Overall, I know I get to run this game smoothly, don't have to buy any upgrades or whatever for PC, and it will look fucking amazing on a big screen TV.

I've been gaming with world of warcraft on it at the moment as my staple mmorpg, going to be over the moon when final fantasy 14 is blown up on this beauty, but having to move my eyes around so much will be crazy, it smokes my old bravia which wasn't anywhere near bad but nothing on this things crystal clear display.

I'm kinda thankful after seeing how they are aiming towards a customizable UI with a minimalistic approach to design with it because it will be very nice not to have to clutter my screen with boxes of information like in world of warcraft just to do things properly.

but just out of curiosity is it just me or does the lalafell (taru) look like he's got a stick up his ass while moving around?

Ya, its WAY too big for a computer monitor and it took me months to get used to. I wanted a larger tv for my bedroom but didn't take into account how it would affect my pc use since I use it for both things. Endgame events took their toll on my when I first got it. They usually take several hours to complete and several hours in front of a HUGE GLARING screen = migraines.

You sit right infront of your 37" ?

That would be a little hard to get used to for anybody, I sit about 5metres from my tv when its a monitor for my computer or when I'm using it for other things, how the hell can you see the whole screen at a chairs distance away? you must get a heck of alot of migraines mom.

I give you props for the dedication though, not even i'd do that with a screen that size or my size.

Okay, it looks like there's a quest tracker now like in WoW, that makes me happy. Instead of just killing the 20 chickens and guessing my progress, the game tracks it for me. I appreciate that a lot, if that's what it is.

Looks awesome. I'm SOOOOO tired right now (seriously I haven't worked in 5 years then go back for a 9 hour day, it's killer) but this made me feel better.

If I could get my PC to hook up to my 48" Aquos LCD HDTV then that'd be great but I doubt I could get an HDMI cable long enough that won't break the bank so F it lol.

I can't even stand using a PC anymore. I was playing the Aion beta on CK's computer this past weekend and I was so uncomfortable. I actually have grown to prefer my laptop because it lets me be lazy and lie around, while still being able to see the screen and reach the keyboard.

It's pretty sad lol.

That's where you are wrong my friend. HDMI Cable, Home Theater Accessories, HDMI Products, Cables, Adapters, Video/Audio Switch, Networking, USB, Firewire, Printer Toner, and more! has really cheap HDMI cables at any length. You don't need to spend a fortune on an HDMI cable when a cheap one does the exact same justice.

It's pretty sad lol.

The problem with my laptop is that its an Alienware and pretty high end so its NOT lite and its VERY hot. I use a cooler and a lap board with it but its still too hot to sit on my lap for any length of time......especially in the summer. And toting it around is not an option, the damn thing weighs like 12 pounds. But it still runs better than my desktop pc, so I tend to use it more often. I tried to get Sims 3 to run on my desktop and couldn't which REALLY pissed me off but I got it up and running np's on my laptop. I bought a Sony Vaio recently too. The difference between the two is unbelievable! I prefer how lite the Vaio is by FAR! I use that on my trips now instead of my Alienware. The Alienware was giving me neck and shoulder issues from lugging it around!
