      Its because then you cant "Blink" to make your character stronger when you do an action.

      I do like how you have said that though. It will make it better, and no more blinking when you weapon skill or some such.

        thats the way I like it ;p

        I dont like WoW much, but there are a few things form it I do like,

        no gear swapping in battle is one of them, also the freedom of travel, the whole world as one big "zone"

          Yeah I didn't like having to load into a zone on FFXI. You get that in WoW only entering instances.

            well I was used to it from other MMORPGs I have played, it was new to me when WoW did it, and I did like it. I am sure XIV will be that way as well, dont see the need for zones in XIV

              My first MMO was EQOA for the PS2 which didn't have load zones. So when I played FFXI a year later, I was like wth is this shit? But I got used to it eventually.

              But I agree with you. They said the world is slightly smaller also.

                well they said the main area where we all start off is, I am sure they will do what they did with FFXI, in that we are on the main landmass, then get access to others with expansions and such.

                  Oh yeah no doubt.. I hope they don't copy off WoW too much. I think FFXI was so much better, but WoW had the improvements that XI needed.

                  Even though FFXI wasn't my first, I still like to think of it that way. Like a girl who lost her virginity, you never forget your first.

                    Well so far I am seeing ideas from Monster Hunter, and WoW, mixed in with FFXI, to make FFXIV, if done right, the game will be truly bad ass.

                      I hope so. I wonder how many people are going to pull away from WoW? I have 2 friends that play ALL THE TIME still. Yeah we had good times together in that game, but they need something new in their life lol.

                      It'd be cool to take my PS3 to their house and so that we can play the same gamer together in an abnormal situation. Console and PC owners, gaming as one under the same roof! Peace on earth.

                        I am seriously hoping that we can see our weapons at all times, lets say you have a staff a bow and a sword, i'm hoping to see all three weapons on my body... I know its probably not gonna happen but its one of those things i'd love to see.

                            That would be nice. But with the staff and bow, both will be on your back unless you are holding one. It will be odd trying to grab your bow, and you grab the staff instead because they are both on your back XD

                            It would be nice to see. The could have it so that the bow is over your arm instead of on your back which works the same.
