A rogue jumping around a warrior? L2P. Jumping doesn't accomplish much in WoW, it just looks stupid. Instead of jumping, you can just run around in circles to achieve a similar effect. The point is to stay out of their LOS while keeping them in your LOS.

That is what bothers me, I challenged you to a fight, not a jumping contest..... I don't care what class you are, its an MMORPG not an action game. My case in point.....

I have to agree with Tickmeoff lol. I'm not going to stand there there and let you wail on me especially if you got the advantage of being stronger and taking more damage. You must have lost a lot of fights before the Lich King expansion to rogues huh?

It's strategy.. it's not a turn based game where 2 people stand still infront of one another and take turns landing blows or keep spamming their spells till someone drops. If you want to do that, PvP on Sacred2 lol.

When you run in circles they have that much more time to turn your way. especially if the person PvP and wasn't a nublet at it. When you jump towards them you can pretty much jump through them and that's where they get fucked. Did you play a rogue?? Or were you a warlock who didn't ever have that problem? lol

I've played both. As a rogue I never had the need to jump through or run circles around an opponent, because, if I didn't think I could take them out in the time I had to keep them stunned, I wouldn't bother at at all, unless it was two on one. That's the benefit of playing a rogue.

Well I did.. and it worked for me and many other rogues. Everyone has different strategy and methods to wina battle. Sometimes I'd jump up down at the same time I was attacking just cause I was bored.. So the fuck what? lol

Fucking sap or whatever the fuck it's called, they fucking rape my shit so quick. I have zero PvP gear and I really didn't do a whole lot of it, but shitballs, I hate rogues.

You get used to it as being normal. Atleast I did cause I didn't care.

You cheap shot and kidney punch.. then if they had maces, they gave them that much more of a chance to keep you stunlocked lol.

I just know better. I can't win, the best I can hope to do is fear them and maybe mind control, usually I don't even get fear off. People wait till I've got like 3 mobs on me then SURPRISE BUTTSEX, frustrating but whatever lol. It's just how it is on a PvP server, I just get back on my DK later (it's level 61) and go beat some fuckers up in Hellfire.

I never got to be a DK.. I tried to log on my account and someone changed the password.. then my friend checked the armory and there was no Dauragon on Smolderthorn.. But he ran my other toons names and they were still there.. so my 70 rogue with 4/5 S3 Arena armor was gone. I cried.. I broke down and I cried..

It's pretty easy to get your account back if it's been hacked though, if you contact Blizzard. Had a friend get hacked and he got his account back right away, and his stuff back like a week later.

If WoW requires you to jump around the enemy constantly to be efficient in a duel then perhaps they should implement actual evasive maneuvers.

Just because it works it doesn't make it any less absurd. It seems to me the PvP gameplay places importance on movement yet doesn't provide any additional movement methods besides the same walk/run you use to get from point A to point B.

Alternative Argument: Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris do not jump in circles when they fight. If they don't do it, it's stupid.

It doesn't, it's just being blown out of proportion here.

Like I said earlier, one movement impairing effect (something every class but Warlock has in WoW, last I played) and jumping is useless. Your jump distance becomes pitiful when you are moving at 30-50% normal speed.

I feel Aion is on the right track with rewarding the player for moving around during combat. When you move backwards, a small arrow comes up the signals that your defense is raised; move forward and your attack is raised; move side to side and your evasion and parry is raised. Pretty neat little feature.

I am not saying it's the perfect solution, but it sure beats just jumping around for the sake of jumping around.

So that was a dumb comparison.. Don't compare a fictional choreograph fight with PvP in a videogame..

I can name numerous games you fight and jumping around or over your opponents is a good strategy. I simply say, get over it cause people are gonna jump and there's nothing you can do about it.
