The website said your armor is determined by the weapon you equip, as well as your job. Is it a coincidence that the blacksmith is constructing a sword, because that's the only piece of gear you have to equip?

The retards over @ BG are all in an uproar over the Miqo'te not having the darkened noses of the Mithra and lighter skin... lol. Personally I f'ing the new kitties soooooooo much. And yes, the new Galka look awesome (at least they have proper proportions now)

they said skin tone will be one of the options, so darker skin/fur sounds possible if people want a more colored in Miqo'te.

I notice the default race models seem a little on the pale side, that may hint that the skin tones options is true.

I have to say the Hume/Hyuran woman (yes, jenova's avatar) just seems to stare into my soul. I'm captivated by her. She's not quite my character model (at least I don't think she is) but I can't wait to be her, or someone like her.

Yes, I know how silly that sounds. But holy crap, this is getting exciting. I was on the fence about XIV, but really, I can't wait. And CK said the same thing, and he's still fairly unsure, but I think some of my excitement is starting to wear off on him and maybe he'll come along for a while too.

I can already see myself getting attached to an XIV character, before I even know what kind of facial/hair/skin options I'll have. I better start saving my money for a new PC.
