                      I hope they do away with being able to switch your armour in combat because it's conceptually and visually stupid. That'd kill the need to carry around a ton of stuff, as well.

The more armor you have to get via grinding for gil or camping an NM then thats longer that you'll be playing. You'll also need to get gil or farm items to expand your gobbie bag...again more play time. More play time = more $$ in their pockets /sigh

Pissing off a lot of FFXI veterans and lowering their subscription rates could cost them money too, and they could come up with ways to extort a lot of playtime out of players trying to customize their characters without literally having them carry around 2-5 pairs of gloves, hats, rings, trousers, etc. For example, slotted armor like RO. But any form of armor customization that comes at a cost will do.

                              But they could get lazy. Who knows.
