No, that's a Mithra.

There's a woman sitting at a table with somebody wearing a Black Mage hat, a Mithra, and an Elvaan. Her ears aren't Mithran, nor Elvaan. They're large, like an Elvaan's, but they protrude outward from her head. Her nose seems to be soft, like a Mithra's.

Looks more like Corn rolls that turn into braids at the back of the head, but they do look kinda like Dreads. >.<

Thats the one I kept talking about. Doesnt look quite like a mithra, not look like elvaan. only other thing I can think of is... Viera.

Incorrect. There are No Mous in FFXII, they are just exceedingly rare. For example, Ma'kenrouh inside the Clan Centurio is a No Mou (he's the guy upstairs next to the Viera). There are a few more examples, but you can really count the number of No Mou you meet in XII on two hands.

Like I said, I thought they did, but wasn't sure. Never got far in that game.

The one with the spear? That's an elf chick. Face 3A. Elvaan ears stick out to the sides. Viera ears stick straight up in the air from the top of their heads. Another example is this pic, the chick on the left is an Elvaan, and her ears stick out. Viera have ears similar to Mithra, with them sticking out from the top of their head, while the spots where normal human ears are covered in hair.

I know what Elvaan look like, and she does not strike me as Elvaan. I'm not going to speculate about what she could be, I'm just pointing out what similarities and differences I've noticed: the ears and nose. I know it's hand drawn and painted, so iliberties may be taken, but at this point I woudn't be surprised if SE has their hypemachine switched on.

This isn't FFXI. Some of the models may bear a striking resemblance, but it's not the same game. The woman's ears look nothing like the other Elvaans' ears, and her face resembles more that of a Hume's. She's sitting at the same table as an Elvaan, and they look nothing alike.

Well for adding new races, I don't think really they would. It would be cool for them to but when they want races to be specific to an area that usually takes them off the player character possiblity. For instance even though you can go to Kazham the Mithra home land not one male in sight. So I hope they add the opposite sexs (if galkas have their tails in the front now). What would also be cool if you could get mix breeds as a race who have less pluses but more racial gear options.

On the subject of black humes, I would think that being a nice addition but that might only be because I am black I am saying that. But the one that was closet assumed as black look more like a navaho native american, or maybe Samoan. I hope they put an Auron and Balthier face and hair style in the next time.

Having multiple anthropomorphic hot furry chick races would be a bit much, but I wouldn't complain lol.

Something else about looks, I would like rings belts hairpin and earring to be visible on the character model. I just think it would be kinda cool to see earring and hairbeads and such on characters walking around town. Now the Lulu hair style was a bit over board but with that many hairpin should must have one for every stat.

Every face in that picture is based on an FFXI model, in fact the whole reason they stuck with the FFXI races was for familiarity, and using faces based off the original models goes along with that. Her ears and face *do* look just like every other elf chick. All elvaan have "hume-like" faces because it's not the face that makes them unique, it's the ears, hair and body type.

The only exception is the kid with horns.

GDI Ziero! I'm reading along, nothing much going on and then THIS! I've been whitening my teeth recently and I have to use this pasty white shit on my teeth after I'm done because bleaching makes your teeth super sensitive. So I have to sit for 15 mins with this crap on my teeth before I can rinse and GDI along comes Ziero! I busted out laughing and spent the rest of my 15 mins cleaning dots of white paste off my desk, keyboard, and monitor! (I swear this forum makes me bust out laughing at the worst times!)

The only exception is the kid with horns.

While I can see some people thinking it might be a Gria (even though I was the one who mentioned it above), another thought is... it's just something in the background like a staff or something. Looking at their proportions the person is looking to their right, so the horn on the left side of it's head should be larger, but it's not. Instead the point that's on it's right hand side is larger, which makes me think that whatever that's supposed to be is unmoving compared to the person.
