The way I look at it, they are all on a boat. Thats your first clue. Second, all companies that keep the same "theme" in terms of race and armor ... which if you look at other parts of the trailer you can see they did... slightly modify the armor to make it "better" looking or more suited to the current theme they are going for. So... that is why I say it looks like Fishing Gear. It does have some very distinct features that the fishing gear has.Comment

Okay, so either:
1) This is how you fish in XIV, bust out a greataxe and some badass AoE defensive whatsit or
2) SE created the battle demo with a bunch of gimps.
OOOOOR (super-hyper-over-speculation GO) they were fishing and XIV penalizes/disallows gear swaps.Ellipses on Fenrir
There is no rush. If you're not willing to take your time, don't be surprised when no one wants to give you much of theirs.
