re: E3 2009: FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Coming in 2010
I'm scared to even mention FFXIV in my Linkshell because it might offend someone the wrong way, or make the wait more
painful to them and they just don't wanna hear about. well lately they have been quiet about it but I'll see what they talk about tommorrow and then jump in if they mention anything.
But I think FFXI veterans, or some of them, will move to FFXIV easily and with much anticipation, just like there are already WoW players packing their bags and waiting for the green light to start playing FFXIV next year! Some may refuse to let go of their hard work, but most can't resist experiencing the "next best mmorpg", including those that didn't have the patience,
time or tolerance to reach the level cap and make it to endgame activities. This time they will be pretty even with everyone else at launch, and massively more options to team up with people and work together, so it won't be like LS these days where the endgame members do their thing, and the newbies are left to fend for themselves most of the time.
FFXIV will naturally draw in all kinds of subscribers,
FFXI veterans,
WoW veterans,
MMORPG newcomers,
MMORPG veterans,
curiousity seekers,
friends and family, etc. etc!
especially those that missed the launch of FFXI. I have yet to experience an mmorpg of this quality first day!
