re: E3 2009: FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Coming in 2010
ya I respect that door idea but once I'm in FFXIV's world, I'm not going back.
Vana'diel will still be in the back of my mind though.
I wonder how the summons will look this time? Ifrit? Shiva?
new ones? They said crystals have a new role so I think they aren't used for crafting anymore, well maybe, it was fun collecting crystals. The painting art has a crystal in town, I wonder if it's more than a homepoint.
I'm so glad the battle isn't full button mashy real-time. It will be interesting how it will work now. I also wonder what they plan to experiment with the chocobos. AF gear should return, it's really cool because like the first FF games you can just know someone's job based on their AF, but I wonder if jobs might be a vague definition now that the growth system might be more complex
in that there might not even be archetypes so to speak. Well its hard to say, of course there will be mages and fighters and
supports, but I wonder if the Jobs will be treated as Jobs or just an overall extension of the variety of skills a person will learn.
Yet I think roles will be just as pronounced this time, so the classic jobs we know won't be lost in the system as augments to the greater whole.
