I highly suggest you all just buy the cards. I live in the middle of nowhere and we even have the cards here.

We don't have the option for that in the UK. It's Crysta or Click and Buy ONLY. No wait, we have Click and Buy only.

We get gouged on the Crysta because 100 Crysta = £1 which is more than 1 Euro and more than $1 and quite a lot more than 100 Yen.

Add in the fact that players from the UK pay more than people in the EU, US and Japan per month for the subscription fee for some unknown reason and you will realise that people over here are paying at least $20 per month to play this game when using Crysta to pay.

So the only viable option to pay for the game in the UK is Click and Buy

I'll wait for the "Rest of America" (ie. not the US or Canada) version of the game before bothering with Crysta.

In other news, not as many people are playing XIV as I'd hoped for. Last night it was pretty much a normal weekday so I couldn't do all the cool things I was planning to do once everyone moved to XIV.

I'm doing my part Ray. I have been on an FFXI hiatus for about two months. Hoping to come back soon though and stalk you while you try to solo Vrtra.

In other news, not as many people are playing XIV as I'd hoped for. Last night it was pretty much a normal weekday so I couldn't do all the cool things I was planning to do once everyone moved to XIV.

The SE players all join next week so you might well see some players vanishing to play it. To be honest I would wait until a month after SE release to determine how many people are migrating from XI to XIV.

I'm seeing an average of 1800-2300 on my server (Besaid) depending on the time of day, though mine is a low pop server.

I honestly doubt that many will be running from FFXI.
