Fish and Shards color coded Alchemy chart!

Ok when this first came out (in the update) my ls sat down and figured out what makes what. We came up with a list of Recipe's that I want to share with others so its easier for them to convert their shards and crystals. This guide only includes the recipes that require fish.

Credit for this goes to Romper Stomper, Senbonsakura Kageyoshi, and Darken Templar of the Palamecia server Paranor Linkshell for helping us figure out the recipes for some of these! ^^.

Ok that should be it ^^ let me know if I have missed anything! Also I noticed some of them as far as how many they make could be wrong, so if anyone exp anything other than what is listed up there let me know so I can edit it!

I do know that there are a lot of synths missing from this chart, so if you happen to come accross one of them please let me know so I can add them. I need to know the following in order to add it:

It would probably be best served under the Hands section since shards/crystals are useless to War, Magic and Land.

Oh my this is awesome. Alchemy is sweet!! and a reason to fish too!

I might be thinking of this incorrectly, but if lightning has a net gain doesn't that mean this class is now a shard/crystal factory? *drool*

Thanks a lot ^^ if you come across any recipes that are missing please let me know.
Oh and yes alchemy has become a crystal / shard factory. If you really want to do good in Alchemy I would suggest leveling Fishing, Culinary, and alchemy as your main crafts. They all go hand in hand rather nicely and you have a chance to make a lot of gil for when endgame and more nm's come around to use it on. Save Save SAVE!!!

The biggest obstacle with this is fishing ... in order to progress with the craft meaningfully you will be required to spend most of your leve on the craft or else be stuck gaining a paltry rate of 1sp every 1.5sec (if you figure in the average sp gain for the appropriate zone, fish strikes, fish escapes and average out rates from New and Full Moon phases)

This means non interrupted 36 hours of fishing from R10 to R20. It then goes up to around 113 hours to R30. This is still under the best of circumstances and good gear (etc) I've logged into more New Moons than Full so I would get worse rates (1sp per 3sec?) which would mean around 50 or so hours to R20 and then another 160 or so to R30. If you spend 3 hours a night fishing (that would mean that would be all I'm doing every night) it works out to around 2 weeks to R20 and then 2 months to R30. By that time shards and crystals would be your last thing you need to worry about.

Bottom line ... just buy the shards/crystals.

Yeah I was gonna get ALC to 20 then start fishing forever.... Of course tho ^^ we have Romper Stomper in our ls. He is one of the highest ranked fishers on the palamecia server!! Only problem is he only fishes grade 4 and 5.

Fishing is fun for in between or waiting on Behest. But because it requires so much inventory space (almost everything you catch stacks only to 12 and you get the annoying HQ versions) it's too bothersome for most players to deal with. I'm sure fishing would be a fine option if they could somehow to a separate page just for gathered items, like they already do for shards and crystals. If they were to do that, for sure, I would fish when I could.

I do agree, that would be freaking sweet lol. I am going to do 2 leve's a day for fishing and that is about as far as I am going to get in leveling it on a daily basis. Only bec its so useful for my ALC and CUL.
