  • Yagrush

Thanks to Taskmage and Skoal I went to look up the whm Nyzul Isle relic and found some information.

    The stats shown on wiki

    Yagrush
    (Club) All Races
    DMG: 43 Delay: 267
    Enhances "Divine Veil" effect
    Aftermath: Increases Magic Acc./Atk.
    Occasionally attacks twice
    Lv. 75 WHM
The information originally posted here and credit to Allakhazam for posting and translating it

As previously announced, Square-Enix to presented at the 2008 Summit Community new Relics Weapons, seven giving everyone Sites First presentation exclusive of any of these weapons. Obviously, JoL-FFXI is not lagging behind and that is not without pride that we present to you Yagrush, the future of Relic Weapon White Mages.

The main feature of this club is to establish a permanent Divine Veil when the club is equipped (Editor's note: This is at least what Mochi explained to me, although I was unable to test this feature, we confirm the faster), this remaining in the optical announced by SE with these Relics Weapons "to improve the role of the job."

The club also has a double attack and its Aftermath of guideline is to improve the magical powers of whm who employment.

But coming to one of the most interesting feature of the weapon: his Weapon Skill. Without match weapons directed DD on dmg inflicted, Mystic Boon offers a feature of most interesting when Relic Weapon is equipped. Indeed, while Mystic Boon made with Yagrush leads to a conversion of a portion of the damage inflicted on mp! In this case, was more than just to make some damage or skillchain, Mystic Boon will also act as mp heal.

Not to mention that this was animation is particularly careful and spectacular.

I wants it. Give yourself a small happy moment with the idea of permanent erasega. Auto AoE on status cures is pretty damn nice but it has to be said that this isn't quite the update to Divine Veil I think most whm (including me) were hoping for.

I think I like it though, it's managed to be a really nice melee club option (in the top range of DpS, double attack, access to a hopefully decent mp recovery ws) and incredibly desirable for whms more traditional and usual function which Mjollnir just doesn't do. It's nice to see the new mage relics look like they are going to be more than toys and status symbols.

Yeah, its not the fix to Divine Veil most WHMs were probably hoping for, but that said any WHM that gets thier hands on one will outshine SCHs for status cure removal in various situations.

I'm curious if the QD effect on Death Penalty is similar, giving CORs unlimited access to QD, but its probably just a damage boost or some extra QD charges.

Will that magic att/acc benefit WHMs? Or would it be better if it gave melee att/acc instead?

        What?!

        Always-active -ga status cures?

How could there be a better fix for Divine Veil barring making it cross-alliance which would be unprecedented?

They said it was subject to change. Who knows. I agree, though, MAtt/MAcc is a pretty crappy bonus for a WHM. WHMs decent melee skill and position as a 5th string enfeebler (behind RDM, NIN, BLM, and SCH/RDM) make the melee boost a more appealing choice. That is, unless the MAtt bonus is truly awesome in which case Banish everybody or MB your own Light SC for similar damage to a RDM.

Maybe not having to upgrade a relic to get it?

What about WHMs like me who desperately need fast ways to cure AoE status down and AoE enfeeb spams and won't ever have the time to commit to endgame nevermind getting a fully upgraded Relic Weapon?

This will be useful depending on what exactly Aftermath does, and depending on what kind of enhancement it gives to Veil (I'd like to see something like a reduction in the JA timer).

I want this badly, but I'm torn between the RDM one and this one. Assuming I only have to do certain things once, such as getting titles from beating Salvage bosses and whatnot, I can see where it might be possible to get both.

It does suck that basically they told us WHMs, "No, we will not be making Divine Veil its own job abilty." Hell even if I had t merit it, I so would.

It has already been tested, briefly.

The Aftermath effect occurs when you use the New WS and it's power increases with the amount of TP used to do the WS.

The Veil enhancement is not a change in a timer--It's better than that.

It makes it so that Divine Veil is always active without having to use Divine Seal to invoke it.

Wow, constant Divine Veil would be incredible. For me it would take away a LOT of the stress of playing WHM, a hell of a lot!!!!
But ultimately it's a macro piece, and I can't see putting forth the effort to get the thing just for the constant Divine Veil.

Yagrush? All I'm coming up with is a running Yagudo, but I presume you have something else in mind.
