I was annoyed when I paid nearly 500k for Erase for my mithra whm (at lv45) 2 years ago, then I saw it go up higher. I got even more annoyed when I recently bought erase for around 100k for my hume monk's end-game whm (only lv25 so far) sub. >_>
If a whm doesn't have Erase by lv32 now, they should be taken out and shot. Granted, with all the deflation, it can be a little harder to make gil; but making 100k is not that hard. At the very least, get a friend to help you farm some blood/silk in Pashhow and, even splitting the gil, you could make 100k in 2-3 days max.
As for HQ staves, if you notice, most HQ stuff isn't dropping by all that much, unless it's a particularly commonly bought item, such as Amemet Mantle +1. SH+1, Haubergeon +1, Hauberk +1, and Byrnie +1 are all still very expensive (though they have come down a decent amount).
Actually, Ziero (remember me? =P), Haubergeon went past 10 mil. I bought mine for 12 mil and it went on up to around 14 mil before dropping again.
And I just recently bought a Scorpion Harness for my monk for only 2.5 mil.
Oddly enough, the Jungle Stone I bought 2 years ago for 1.2 mil has gone up. I just sold mine for 2.8 mil (since my whm is now lv70 and can use a better, cheaper item) so I could buy Cross-counters for my monk for 2 mil.
