Why, oh why, does SE do this to us?

What appears to be one of a few decent soloing clubs in the game, and we can't use it. How many warriors and dark knights use clubs anyway?

    Ok... emo moment over.

I'm hoping this is just an oversite on the programmer's part, because all it leaves me is scratching my head and asking "Why?".

You do get Sea Robber/Seawolf Cudgels though. Either of those is as good or better and whm-onry. I do wonder why they bother making clubs for jobs that will never use them, though.

That Seawolf Cudgel looks AWESOME - would make a great match to my Darksteel Maul +1 when I'm WHM/NIN..

The downside of the Sea cudgels is that they're a pain to camp. I camped it with a friend of mine (he wanted one to offhand, so he could eat meat with his Mjollnir), I was there like 5 hours with hardly any pirates, he was there for 8 hours, and of course as soon as he gives up the NM spawns on the next boat.

Those NMs are REALLY a pain.

The Templar Mace looks good too.

There is also the Templar Hammer with a Latent Effect of Magic Attack Bonus +2. Paired up with the Templar Sabatons and a moldavite earring for +5 Magic Attack you could get get an magic attack bonus of +9. {Hmm..}what's the Magic Attack formula for spell damage?

Only problem with this is I get a sneaky suspicion that this stuff will be harder to get than the pirate crudgels.

And give the Novio earring to a WHM.

Templar hammer is apperently a common drop off an Imp NM near dvucca

Ya those nms are really a pain. Everytime I go to fish marlins, no low level attacks the pirates then discovers that the extra large skeleton is an nm. Thus begins the -aga spells when people start running from it.
