just dropped cure V on the tank, me and herself. before she got a beakful in the face D:

oh she was subbing smn + vermy + sanction refresh and began to complain how she doesnt have enough refresh... and why was sanction refresh only 1mp?!?!!?!?!?!! thats so lame its only 1mp~?~~?~ then we explained that besides rdm/brd/cor abilties, WHAT refresh is more than 1mp? she promptly stfu.

oh and 1 thing, whats with cure V?! i mean, as a whm when you get a new spell does that mean you have to spam the fuck outta it? the next pt i got after the aforementioned one, our whm would only use Cure V.

150 HP missing..... 135 MP.... fantastic HP:MP ratio there.

Plenty of WHM advocate using only Cure V after you get it, because it's the most MP-efficient Cure spell if you have high enough mind, and because it has a hate reduction.

But the idea is that you're supposed to let the tank get low, Cure V, then rest MP until the tank gets low again. Maybe it's just a misunderstanding? I hope?

Like some higher-level whm saw them casting Cure IV a lot and said "Just use Cure V instead, it's better"?

I dunno. Personally I'm a Regen whore.

That happend to me when with a 68 freind WHM and someone askes for a raise. She gives him a R1 and the guy is bitching about how he only got a Raise I, its like wtf you could have got jack. Thats how it goes with some people though they are never satisfied.

In relation to the OP, unfortunetly (as a whm) we have to get used to rude, rude, RUDE people. And if we say anything, we are labelled as stuck up and b*tchy. *Try* and brush people off like that (yes, I know it is very hard sometimes). Best advice: find a WHM friend to vent too

To Omni~ Sorry your whm was so horrid -.- I would have given her some "friendly" advice.

Cure 5 is most MP and hate efficient at the right lvl and mnd. If she had just gotten it, it is not yet most beneficial to use. Cure 3 + Regen's are all you really need. Cure 5 draws less hate than Cure 3. I personally didn't use Cure 5 (on a regular basis) until my 70s.

In my opinion, Cure 4 should never be used in battle, unless hate will most definately not leave the tank. Cure 4 draws entirely too much hate for a WHM and should be reserved for PLDs.

Hopefully, one day, that whm (blm) will realize that the world doesnt revolve around their poor attitude and poor skills.

I got it two levels ago, and so far my only use for it has been terrorizing undead.

I can't remember the exact numbers, but cure V wins in every way when it does 620 or more HP recovered... (Assuming +10% cure potency on light staff only.) I'd do the quick math, but I use cure IV so infrequently that I don't know how much it cures exactly...

Overcuring is a big problem with some WHM though. Cure V for 400. Regen III on a melee that rarely pulls hate and is only missing a handful of HP anyway... Some get it, some don't.

Trying to go back to the original post... I haven't really had any messed up situations quite like that. I think every WHM goes through the random tells asking for some favor, followed by them getting mad when we decline. But this one is a bit different...

Somebody blacklisted you because you raised them. You weren't involved in their death in any way. Honestly...in your shoes I'd be a bit confused by it all, but they're probably not the kind of person I'd want to deal with. My advice is to just shrug it off and move on.
