The WHM forum in general has a lot of this information floating around.

EDIT: sorry, didn't really register the /blu part of the question. The /blm pros and cons have already been listed, kinda though /blu would already have been discussed somewhere as well.
What I do know: BLU gives you less mp as a sub, and only really offers a cpl spells for protection (which you shouldn't need in xp situations), and a couple healing spells that don't really do a whole lot the higher in level you get. It might have soloing possiblities, but I can't see it being useful in many other situations.
I've actually experimented a little with this. Overall? Not so hot. Less MP, a lot of enfeebles you have to be up against the mob for (and with a halved skill, most are likely to resist). Accuracy is usually an issue for WHMs against Party-EXP critters, so physical spells aren't so hot. Solo, I find it a little better in that the physical spells do a fair bit better, but the enfeebling effects are still poor, even with a capped Blue Skill (course, I'm not geared for +acc). You also lose Warp, the Spikes, Escape, and Elemental Seal.
That being said, Cocoon is absolutely beautiful if your tank is a loon (Holy Breastplate + Protect IV + Cocoon = Defense {Yes, Please!}). The Auto-regen and Clear Minds don't stack, but the range of abilites you can pick up eventually is nice. Two different Sleepgas (Sheep Song, Soporific) is useful in a party, let it be said, though sticking them can be iffy. Healing Breeze is also cheaper than Curaga, Sealable, and has a pretty high cap (point-blank, but meh). And of course, cranking another +5 or more into Mnd (and not a few into +Vit) by setting spells is nice.
