Raise 2

I'm curious how everyone got Raise 2, and if it was as expensive as on my server right now.

I currently have a 66 Summoner, 61 Dragoon, and 52 White Mage. I enjoy all 3 jobs, and would like them all to be level 75. But Raise 2 on Titan is 900k-1 million gil! Just a couple months ago it was 50k-100k. It's insane, that it's twice as much as Erase.

Also, everyone freaks out when they die, "Raise 2 Only! Don't even try to Raise 1 me!" So why would they sell it for so much? Sorry, this is kind of a rant, but also I'm seeking help for getting the spell. I don't have many beastmen seals, but does anyone know if Raise 2 drops off a NM?

Probably the most practical choice of the 3.

Sure you don't want to take a stab at it with Beastmen Seals?
Treasure and Tribulations is an easy-yet-risky solo. Even if you don't get Raise II, you can walk out with some very nice consolation prizes (provided your in walking condition at all).

Haven't checked R2 price in a long while... I have no idea it's that expensive on our server now.
that is the 3 chest BCNM right? Sounds like a good investment if you already have the seals laying around.
Safest is to bring ninja main job. Get a mimic, bomb yourself xD
Coral Sahagin looks too strong for the OP. Unless you can get some friends to help : /

I had no idea it had gone up to that price. I think I got the drop off of one of the Sahagin in SSG for my RII, but geez. 1mill for R2? You can bet that those Sahagin will be farmed to hell and back now.

As far as I know, it isn't as much as that on my server - I got it from the Anticans BCNM, which is ridiculously easy as a BCNM60. You can also get some nice torque from that one - for instance, the evasion torque sells for 3 mill on my server.

I'll have a look at the phoenix prices later. I haven't heard people complaining about the price on the WHM grapevine, so.. Maybe its only on the one server where the price has been jacked.

Well back when I needed R2, I just purchased it from the AH. Since whm was my main then, I am sure I'dve been saving for it, as to not have the spell at the appriorate lvl isnt acceptable

100k....wow....I paid 250k back in the day. Oh and Raise 3....I think it was 2.1 mil when I bought mine with the help of my static pt. Thank you lucky stars that the price is so low.

I just looked - raise II has now hit 300k on our server. Thats a touch high... raise III is going for about 40k

Raise III got to 1.5 million at some point, then they introduced a BC which dropped it so it fell quite nicely. Raise II though ... wow. I bought it for about 20k I think, about two years ago. Time to start farming those Sahagins or doing those BCs and praying for the drop.

Wow, Raise II has riased to a rediculous price O.o
I remember buying it for 100kish and I thought that was bad at the time.
I do understand why Raise III was so expensive at the time, when it was a rare drop from Kirin only.
Now it's obtainable through several BCNMs and ENMs and the price dropped considerably.
(I bought mine for 110k at the time.)
But come on, raise II is dropped by several mobs.

No wonder the gilsellers are in SSG all the time now.
If it's really that bad I'd say do not buy this scroll.
Gather a few 70ish friends and farm the Yagudo High priest in Castle Oztroja, in the area where you got the G3 crest.
Droprate can be pretty bad but at least he spawns quite often.
Next to that you can farm other high level Yagudo and make some extra gil from the stuff they drop.

I bought mine for 200k on Caitsith after asking people desperately for help killing one of the NMs that dropped it... to no avail. So I just had to fork over the cash. ; ;

Just so you know, the Sahagins that drop the R2 scroll are behind the Ornamental Door (by the Big Claws and Mindgazers). The quest to get teh key is easy, but you have to repeat the quest every time you want to go through the door.

Bring a party and then some, those sahagins are a pain. (Coral Sahagin is actually an NM. I think it has a 1 hr timer, but don't quote me on that.)
