Yes no one is tele'ing in Midgard much anymore. I rarely have the time but I've logged on here and there doing tele's for the regular rates. But if someone shouts offering more, I'm not going to argue! LOL Had a 10k Vahzl one night so afterwards I went and bought a couple Marron Glaces. LOL

I still shout for 500 basics (though I dont hardly tele anymore, atleast for the regular 3) but I'll usually still give them 8 or 900. Not really sure why I do it that way, maybe give a bonus to whoever is willing to let me be cheap?
And since the whm's here started mentioning always having to wait on ppl at the ah or for signet or what have you I've really started to notice it more. I see the person get into the party while the 5 of us are waiting, then they spend the next two minutes doing whatever before they make it to the residentials in lower jueno. The more I see it, the more I understand fewer and fewer whm's tele-taxiing.

I spent 4.4-4.8k on Chocos 4 times yesterday--500 gil for a tele is a little low~.~; I never pay less than 2k for any tele if I need one but I never do them on the teleporting end unless its for free. Inflation has increased the prices on most things roughly an average of 5fold since I started...transportation included.

Last night I decided to seek for a bit after Dynamis. Some random lvl65 RNG runs by, stops, turns around and examines me. The following conversation ensued:

Me>> I'm seeking for xp, not doing teles now
>>RNG: I got an invite, need a tele
Me>> Try Lower Jeuno
>>RNG: You aren't busy, please take me
Me>> No thanks.

Damned if I didn't spend an hour combing through the ToS looking for the "WHM Clause" that states any player currently on a 36+ WHM who isn't in a party is required to teleport other players...

Ok first teleport spells are only for whm's and when you reach lvl 36 you can use your scroll to obtain the spell. Teleports can only be given to party members. So you have to party up with whoever needs the teleport. They also have to have that gate crystal in their key items. (An interesting twist is that the whm does not need the gate crystal. They will tele there and you will stay where you are. I used to teleport people to Yhoat like this.) You have to go to the crag that has the crystal and get the key item before you can teleport to that crag. The different names are the names of the different crags in Vana'diel. Holla is a crag on LaThiene Plateau. Dem is a crag on Konschtat Highlands, and so on. So in order to be teleported you need to visit each one and get the crystal. There are 6 to visit. Some you won't bother with until higher lvls.

There are 6 teleportation spells open to white mages:

Teleport-Holla sends your party to the Crag of Holla in La Theine Plateau.

Teleport-Dem sends your party to the Crag of Dem in Konschtat Highlands.

Teleport-Mea sends your party to the Crag of Mea in Tahrongi Canyon.

Teleport-Yhoat sends your party to the Yhoator Gate Crystal on the western side of Yhoator Jungle.

Teleport-Altep sends your party to the Altepa Gate Crystal on the northern side of Eastern Altepa Desert.

Telepot-Vahzl sends your party to the Telepoint in the middle of Xarcabard.

Yes those are the only places that a whm can tele you if they have that spell. Blm's can get the spell to warp at lvl 17. This will send them back to their home point wherever it is set. Then at lvl 40, they get Warp 2 which they can then send party members back to their homepoints. These are the only 2 player assisted methods of travel.

There's a couple other transportation magics. Escape is a level 29 black mage spell which sends you back to the outside entrance of any dungeon.

At level 73, Bards get Chocobo Mazurka, which increases your running speed by 33% in outside (non-dungeon) zones.
